Basic Function: This position provides high level administrative support for THA Foundation and Member Solutions. Responsible for communicating with members and vendors about THA Family of Companies events, products and services; responsible for supporting sponsorship sales and marketing; responsible for administrative activities related to governance coordination and board meeting planning for several THA Family of Companies (FOC) governing boards; and executive administrative support to the THAF President/CEO.
The position requires problem-solving, independent and collaborative interaction, multi-tasking, and organization. Provide executive support to the THAF president/CEO, Corporate Relations Senior Director and THT Director as well as oversee all administration of governance correspondence and meetings support which includes coordination of member visits by the THAF president/CEO and all associated travel arrangements, and expense reports following the visits. Review and edit letters, memos, speeches, articles and publications. Responsible for coordination of committee and board meetings and follow up. Responsible for coordination of Member Solutions/THAF nomination and election process. Support Manager of Corporate Relations and assist in all facets of Corporate Relations including selling sponsorships for events ,providing meeting/event leadership and support as needed and assisting with on-site sponsors at all education events. Oversees all aspects of THT Silent Auction Provide budget entry, project management entry, receptionist services as well as other duties to THAF and the THA FOC as requested. Perform other related duties as directed or required by the Senior Director of Corporate Relations.

Must be mature and have a respected demeanor, self-disciplined, inspiring confidence and trust in members, staff and outside organizations; Ability to build relationships both internally and externally. Must possess the ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with multiple, complex projects without supervision; ability to prioritize projects on a day to day basis as well as the ability to handle pressure of deadlines; organized, results oriented, and high attention to detail. Must possess demonstrated proficiency and application knowledge of the latest version of Microsoft Office Professional Suite. Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to deal effectively with other staff, members and the public; must possess experience working with diverse personalities at all levels of an organization.
Bachelor’s degree or knowledge equivalent to the attainment of a bachelor’s degree. Five years of related experience working with associations and/or governing boards. Three to five years’ work experience as an office manager and intermediate knowledge of basic accounting, project management and office operations. Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance if conducting business for THA. Ability to travel 20% of the time
