Development and Foundation, Education and Training

Plans, coordinates and administers the educational activities conducted by and the educational products offered through the Association. Provides counsel and assistance to the members with regard to their educational activities, specifically as it applies to NAA designation programs.
Reports to: Executive Vice President
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the educational programs.
Designs and administers an ongoing process for determining the education and training needs of the membership which can be met through the Association.
Develops and sells the education sponsorship program
Analyzes the education and training needs of the membership and identifies seminars, workshops, and other services or products that meet those needs.
Coordinates (paid and volunteer) faculty members for all educational programs/seminars.
Maintains student data and registrations, invoicing and billing, in association management system (Weblink) and manages reconciliation after each program.
Responsible for course registrations, room set up.
Promotes and markets all educational programs.
Serves as staff liaison with the State and National (TAA/NAA) Education Departments
Coordinates the educational related material for the publications in the Association’s monthly newsletter and bi-monthly magazine with Director of Communications by deadline.
Prepares the annual education budget and reviews the education department monthly financial reports.
Supports the Executive Vice President with the Education Foundation administration and functions including program development and fundraising.
Administer annual scholarship programs
Prepares monthly reports of education activities for the monthly board meetings.
Effectively communicate both in writing and in person with various audiences (credential candidates, NAAEI, TAA, board members, paid and volunteer instructors).
Provide timely and exceptional customer service to members in relation to education and professional development inquiries.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned and as may be necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Association. This can include but is not limited to: assisting with fundraisers/meetings of the Association, customer service and administrative functions.
Serves as staff liaison to the following:
Education Advisory Council
All task forces/focus groups related to the education committee such as ROI Exchange and Learn at Lunch
Participate in meetings as a non-voting member with the Austin Apartment Association Education Foundation
Bachelor's Degree Required
