This position reports to the TLA Director, Operations and collaborates with all departments within the association. Primary areas of responsibility include:
Oversee all processes involving program registration and attendee management support for all TLA events including Annual Conference, Annual Assembly, Leadership programs, webinars etc.
Provide high-level of customer service and respond to requests, resolve problems, assist and answer questions from staff and members, and collaborate with volunteers.
Oversee data integrity and quality control during registration process. Oversee reconciliation of participant data for accurate final attendee reports and database.
Assist with program registration marketing campaigns to increase attendance. Assist in analyzing results and recommend new approaches and promotions to improve registration levels.
Produce registration reports as well as registration-related meeting materials, such as attendee lists, program notebooks, check in sheets, badges, name tents, CE credits and certificates, meeting reminders, post-event content distribution support, etc.
Provide administrative staff support and coordination as needed for TLA online store and Texas Bluebonnet Award program etc.
Perform general administrative functions as needed such as greeting support for visitors and callers, mail processing, board and special meeting set-up, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
Bachelors or Associates Degree strongly preferred, but experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Can-do problem solver with ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative, team environment.
Two to five years of customer service experience preferred.
Detail oriented and organized.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and focus on member support and customer service.
Proficient Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as database data entry; Access database experience ideal.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
Reliable, self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills.
Ability to interpret and implement Association policies and procedures.
Ability to travel to annual conference.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Position contingent on passing criminal background check / being bondable.
Experience working with associations or nonprofits preferred.
