The Texas Restaurant Association is hiring a Conference and Events Manager to lead some of the biggest and boldest events in the industry. We’re talking the Texas Restaurant Show, statewide conferences, the Texas Restaurant Awards, the ProStart Invitational, and programs that bring together the most passionate people in food and hospitality.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in large-scale, multiple event management, vendor negotiation, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination. Statewide travel and hands-on event leadership are required on a limited basis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, association events, or related fields.
• Proven success managing large-scale conferences or multi-location events.
• Strong logistics, budgeting, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience developing systems and processes to support statewide or multi-chapter events.
• Proficiency with event management tools, Office365, CRMs, and registration platforms.
• Ability to travel statewide and provide hands-on support at major events, including extended hours as needed (limited).
