Basic Function: This advocacy/multimedia writer works in a fast-paced environment to develop a variety of content for member hospitals, lawmakers, media and the public related to THA’s advocacy issues/priorities and strategic objectives. This includes written print and digital content such as email newsletter and website articles, explainer handouts, advocacy reports, and multimedia pieces such as advocacy videos and audio. Stays abreast of health care issues and THA policy positions to develop clear communication materials to keep member hospitals informed. Works as part of the association’s communications and advocacy/government relations teams.
