Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director, the Chief Governance and Operations Officer (CGOO) shall provide oversight and direction for all Governance and Operations functions of the North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS), North Carolina Dental Society Foundation (NCDSF), and North Carolina Services for Dentistry (NCSD). The CGOO will ensure consistent and best-practice governance bylaws, policies, and protocols, and related operational implementation and excellence. CEO, CGOO, and other Sr. Leaders develop a periodic Strategic Plan to serve as governance and operational overarching direction. CGOO then makes sure all governance and operational rules support the Strategic Plan.
