Job Description: The MRAA Inside Sales Representative maintains responsibility for driving revenue from exhibits and sponsorships at MRAA’s annual conference, partner-related memberships and sponsorships, and member development programs, according to budget and as directed by the Vice President of Business Development.
Major Job Functions & Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to current and prospective customers.
Prospect, nurture and work with new leads to help grow MRAA business.
Develop and maintain positive relationships and regular communications with all assigned prospects and Partners about MRAA programs and services that may benefit their business and/or their dealer networks.
Develop a deep understanding of MRAA’s products and services, features and benefits.
Stay informed of the marine industry trends and marketplace.
Follow MRAA-defined sales processes and communication policies.
Maintain organized, accurate records of related account activity and prepare sales reports.
Negotiate solutions and close business.
Meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals.
Provide extraordinary customer service at all times.

Key Qualifications and Competencies:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and customer service, with an emphasis on business-to-business inside sales and experience with trade shows and exhibit/sponsorship and/or membership sales preferred;
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with excellent presentation abilities necessary.
Detail-oriented, highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage leads and information effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing scenarios and sell multiple products simultaneously.
Outbound communications that include cold calls and conducting a high level of calls per day, in addition to utilizing additional communication outlets.
Excellent analytical, decision-making and organizational skills.
Database management skills; maintain customer contact notes and update customer records with accurate client details.
Passion for helping business customers identify their needs and engage in our programs to help them accomplish their goals.
