As the chief staff officer, this position is responsible for the overall well-being, stability and vision of the Association and its brand and ensuring a favorable reputation for and public perception of the Association. Engages and develops volunteers and employees. Manages Texas PTA State office staff. Ensures membership growth numbers and non-dues fundraising are on target. Interacts with tenants and ensures their associated needs are met. Leads strategic planning initiatives and builds relationships with corporations and other pro-public education groups. Oversees the creation and assessment of internal programs, statewide special events and volunteer training opportunities. Spearheads grassroots advocacy.
