POSITION OVERVIEW The Executive Director of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians (TAOP) serves as the chief executive officer of the statewide organization and is accountable to the TAOP Board of Directors. The Executive Director is responsible for executing the policies specifically approved by the TAOP Board of Directors.  The successful candidate will have demonstrable strengths in consensus building and collaboration. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, involves the development, implementation, and evaluation of the TAOP’s programs and activities in accordance with the Constitution & by-Laws and Policy Manual, and requires effective and efficient management and leadership resulting in productive performance and growth
