What you'll do:
Manage RSNA social media brand and sub-brand presences on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other channels as appropriate. Manage posting and responding on all channels. Consult with managed RSNA sub-brands as needed.
Write, develop and manage social media content and editorial calendar monthly, reflecting business needs, initiatives and organizational priorities throughout.
Work with marketing team to create and manage paid campaigns to support marketing goals. Use Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager to set up campaigns. Implement usage of pixels to build out retargeting audiences. Track campaigns through use of UTMs and Google Analytics, Sprout Social and in-platform analytics. Monitor and adjusts campaigns as needed.
Monitor community engagement social media conversations and actively participates in relevant discussions. Provide customer service and shares insights with Communications and Content Strategy team and other departments. Gather insights and market research related to RSNA customer needs and habits and current events.
Monitor social media analytics and develop status reports; use knowledge gained to identify trends and target audiences; use industry-leading practices to apply new thinking and innovation to RSNA social media programs.
Propose and launch new social media tactics and channels that suit RSNA marketing objectives.
Meet with Marcomm Division team members to understand audiences, media, goals and key messages in order to write copy for social media and related projects. Regularly update marketing managers on project status.
Help maintain quality control of content by following RSNA Content Standards and Guidelines and by serving as a proofreader on projects as assigned or delegated to other team members.
Work with graphic designers to develop social media graphics. Use Photoshop templates to create graphics for Instagram new posts and recurring content posts.
Work with Communications team to provide time-sensitive posts on press releases and organizational updates.
Train and manage a social media team during week of annual meeting and participates in real-time marketing for the event.
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism preferred
3-5 years of social media experience required
Professional experience with paid and organic social media required; agility to adapt to new platforms as they come online
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
Ability to use excellent judgment in enhancing and safeguarding RSNA’s image in all social media outreach
Demonstrates knowledge of analytical and scheduling tools and ability to present summary reports for analysis
Professional writing experience, preferably in health care; ability to write for various channels including social media, email and web and various audiences
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Experience in community management and customer service
Previous experience with AP style and in-house style guides
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
