The Director of Marketing and Communication develops and implements NHIA’s marketing and communication strategy. This position requires the ability to develop strategy as well as implement directly and with others.
Oversight of organizations marketing strategy/implementation related to social media, press releases, advocacy efforts, annual conference, membership, etc.
Oversight design work
Oversight website, technology integration, and external presence
Collaborates with NHIA sales team to ensure advertising, sponsorship deliverables are completed timely with a high level of customer service
Oversight organizations email blasts, electronic newsletter and digital presence
Marketing and communications related to industry annual conference
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent in marketing or communication preferred
High level of customer service and internal collaboration
Proficient in marketing and communication strategy to grow and engage membership
Annual conference marketing experience
Experience with non-profit or associations desired but not required
Ability to manage multiple priorities and activities
Enjoys working in a fast paced, mission driven organization
Accuracy and timely completion of work assignments
Maintaining a positive attitude and work environment
Telecommuting is allowed.
