The Conference Education Manager is a key contributor to the delivery of two national educational programs with over 150 education sessions and technical tours, and nearly 6,000 conference participants.

About the Conference Education Manager Role:
This position will be responsible for keynote conference selection and contracting, call for education presentations, staffing of the conference review committees, speaker logistics and support of the education marketing and material content for the conferences. The Conference Education Manager will identify and implement forward thinking design and collaborate with the Education Team to maximum speaker expertise across all educational products. This position closely collaborates with the internal Meetings staff through all stages of each national conference cycle.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of knowledge and experience with planning successful and engaging high-end educational events, including virtual events and webinars, from inception to completion. The Conference Education Manager should be self-motivated, work well in a fast-paced environment and be eager to work as part of a team. Our future contributor should thrive under pressure, operate with a process improvement mentality and have a passion for planning events, coordinating logistics and delivering an outstanding attendee experience.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of experience in meetings and events management
Excellent computer and communication skills
Expertise in negotiations and speaker contracts
Extensive experience in planning and executing virtual events using Airmeet, WebEx and Ring Central platforms.
A demonstrated ability to make recommendations and influence senior executives and decision makers
Project management experience
Willing and able to travel up to approximately 3-4 times per year with weekend travel
