Reporting to the Executive Director, RWA is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to play an essential role in RWA’s membership recruitment and renewals, database maintenance, and overall customer service to RWA’s internal and external stakeholders. The position will also support the annual awards program and provide general administrative support.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide customer support for incoming calls and exceptional customer service for general inquiries; Monitor and respond to emails in the general inbox;
Remains fully knowledgeable of all programs, educational offerings, membership benefits, and dues structure to answer inquiries and to assist with general inquiries and promote membership;
Serve as a main registrar for all RWA events and programs;
Coordinate mentorship educational offerings;
Facilitate and direct membership initiatives, campaigns, and activities with a focus on member recruitment and retention; develop and implement a new member onboarding program;
Provide regular and thorough reporting of membership data to internal stakeholders;
Maintain clean, complete, and accurate membership database records; Monitor and track data integrity;
Support annual Awards program, tracking entries, providing reports, and communicating with applicants and recipients;
Maintain committee rosters and ensure that all committee members have submitted needed documentation;
Provides administrative support in all areas as needed.
Some travel may be required

Ability to work in a virtual environment;
3+ years of experience providing administrative support in an office environment;
Nonprofit/Association management experience is a plus;
Ability to communicate effectively with association members, leadership, staff, and others;
Ability to work with minimal supervision;
Strong working knowledge and experience in database administration required; iMIS experience is a plus;
Knowledge and skills should include Google Drive, data entry, query building, payment processing, and adherence to data standards;
Exceptional customer service skills;
Able to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail;
A positive, can-do attitude plus possesses the ability to work well with different types of personalities.
