Busy association management company in need of a self-starter who can jump right in and assist our executive directors with day-to-day operations of nonprofit trade associations and professional societies. Must be a fast learner and have the ability to successfully juggle multiple projects at one time.
Overseeing the coordination and facilitation of association projects and activities of the board of directors, volunteers and committees
Developing and maintaining good client relationships by providing first-rate customer service as front-line client/membership contact
Accuracy and efficiency in word processing, registrations processes and business correspondence
Communicating with team and client(s) to expedite work completion and ensure work adheres to pre-specified budget and specifications
Managing and maintaining websites
Creating email blasts for distribution to clients/membership
Maintaining membership databases
Assisting in the coordination of conferences, board meetings and seminars with travel as required
Learning and adapting to changing procedures, methods or processes
Completing routine administration and preparing detailed project status reports
Minimum 2+ years of experience working for an AMC or an Association
Able to travel within the United States (1-5 days at a time) at least four times a year (advanced notice provided)
Work five days a week at the office from 8:00am to 4:30pm
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in time management and organizational skills
Additional Salary Information: As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for the standard company health and dental insurance coverage.
Retirement account options are also a benefit offered to full-time employees. You will be credited with a day of personal/sick leave for every two months of continued employment and you may accumulate a maximum of eighteen (18) days of personal/sick leave. You will receive one week of paid vacation during year one. We offer holiday pay for ten (10) holidays in the calendar year.
Dress code is typically casual/business casual.
