Arlington based national trade association seeks an organized team player for a Communications and Event Coordinator position. This position will be responsible for overall support and coordination of the association’s Industry Relations team focused on communication and events.
Set-up and distribute email communications, bi-monthly newsletters, etc.
Lead event registration for large association events.
Act as main point of contact for event inquiries and registrations through phone and email.
Assist Senior Meetings Manager with housing coordination and reservations. Auditing registration and housing lists as needed.
Coordinate speaker registrations, travel and logistics.
Coordinate needs and supplies for meetings. Including, but not limited to ordering, packing, etc.
Assist with sponsorship deliverables.
Assist Industry Relations team with membership communications, follow-up, engagement, etc.
Establish, maintain and upkeep membership, exhibitor and sponsorship documents.
Maintain historical tracking documents for all events.
Create, update and assist with all website needs.
Run reports as needed for marketing, events, etc.
Provide ongoing administrative support for the Industry Relations team and association special projects.
Association experience a plus.
E-Mail marketing platform experience a plus.
Knowledge in WordPress.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer service and detailed oriented.
Takes pride in their work and job.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize.
Ability to travel.
