The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) seeks a creative, flexible, and detail-oriented full-time membership and meetings senior coordinator. This is a new position for AUGS and is ideal for a candidate with three+ years of non-profit or association management experience. The ideal candidate is mission driven, self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will bring outstanding writing skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Manage the annual membership renewal and retention campaign with preparation of dues invoices and collateral.
Oversee and manage the ongoing call for volunteers’ process
Manage the membership spotlight campaign and MemberShoutout social media campaign
Serve as the main point of contact for members/non-members on requests for information and other assistance. Input and process new member applications; send out welcome packets.
Manage the AUGS’ Jobs site, including supporting customers in posting jobs and invoicing.
Provide registration support for AUGS educational events including attending the AUGS annual meeting
Development and distribution of board travel memo for in-person meetings; logistical planning for in-person meetings (F&B, AV, housing, etc.)
Manage the registration process for all AUGS educational courses, including the annual meeting; serve as the main point of contact with registration questions, and prepare weekly tracking reports
Work with the Education Department on VIP and speaker management including coordination of travel, housing and registration for all AUGS educational courses
Oversee and manage meeting logistics for smaller courses held throughout the year (F&B, AV, housing, hotel coordination, etc.)
Serve as on-site registration staff as needed
Assist with fundraising and development efforts to include exhibit sales and sponsorship fulfillment for the annual meeting and smaller courses
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Customer service focus and experience working with volunteers and/or customers
Experience and/or comfort level with fundraising and development
Strong writing, verbal and interpersonal skills
Familiarity and/or interest in event planning and database management
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, and reprioritize as necessary
Able to thrive in a small staff, team environment
