The American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists (AAOP) is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for excellence and attention to detail to assist our marketing and operations functions. The successful candidate will be results-driven, creative, an excellent writer, comfortable with technical platforms, with strong attention to detail.
The Marketing & Operations Coordinator helps facilitate the delivery of AAOP programming. Areas of focus include marketing and publications assistance, board and volunteer coordination, and education program assistance.
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Communications & Development, and in collaboration with other staff, this position will be responsible for the execution of AAOP’s marketing initiatives through a variety of channels including e-mail, social media, etc. The coordinator will play a role in utilizing the association’s internal platforms (AMS, LMS, E-mail Platform, etc.) to aid in the operation of the organization as a whole.
Minimum of 3 years work experience with at least 1 year of marketing or communications experience, preferably in an association/not-for-profit setting.
Previous experience with AMS and LMS platforms
