We are seeking a tenacious sales professional to serve as an active member of our fun, dog-loving team.
As our Inside Sales Representative, your main goal is to develop trusted relationships with our association members to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
Working with the Director of Membership and Sales, you will develop and execute sales strategies relating to:
Advertising for all of IAPD’s publications (print and digital)
Exhibit and sponsorship sales for the IAPD Annual Convention and Tradeshow
IAPD University educational sales

Here is an overview of what your job entails. You will:
Actively cultivate long-term relationships with members.
Sell advertising in printed and electronic publications, sponsorships and exhibit space for our annual convention, IAPD University and other opportunities.
Develop and implement a plan for current and prospective sponsors/advertisers to increase sales and meet revenue goals.
Frequently engage with current advertisers to understand their strategies and areas for opportunity.
Keep members informed on editorial, event content and advertising opportunities.
Lead the membership renewal process.
Track all activity via database.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop communications that support sales activity.
Be flexible. We are a small staff who collaborate to get things done!

Be prepared to hit the ground running! A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but you are encouraged to apply if you have some college experience and a proven track-record.
You won’t be a road warrior in this role. You may travel up to five weeks per year.
