The Education Manager is responsible for directing, managing and providing strategic oversight for all aspects of ABA educational activities including development, execution and evaluation. Ensures that educational goals of adult learners are met through various educational delivery vehicles such as live, virtual and print. Works with committees and subject matter experts on content development. Responsible for accreditation management and documentation for ACCME, ANCC and other attendee contact hours awarded. Ensures financial goals are met.
Essential functions include:
Developing and managing virtual education
Annual Meeting educational program management working with the Program Committee
Obtaining and maintaining accreditation for CME, CNE and other disciplines
Evaluating all educational programs and recommending opportunities for improvement
5-7 years of experience in adult education/training; instructional design. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Master’s preferred. Association healthcare experience is a plus. Particular knowledge in the development of effective online education/enduring materials for adult learners. Application of instructional design theory and best practice methods including adult learning theory.
