Hunton & Williams LLP, a global law firm, is actively recruiting a Business Practice Development Coordinator. This position supports the business development efforts of the Administrative Law Group. The individual filling this position will work closely with the Team Heads, Group attorneys, and members of the Marketing and Client Development Team to develop and execute firm and team business development initiatives. This individual will be responsible for the creation and updating of content for the team’s various marketing initiatives, including but not limited to client pitches, firm website practice descriptions, email campaigns, brochures, experience lists and case studies. This individual will coordinate and produce responses to client requests for proposals for legal services, assist with development of presentation materials, and maintain and update bios and practice-specific marketing materials. This individual also will assist team management in identifying and assessing potential business development opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or English preferred.
Environmental or energy sector experience desired, but not required.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent writing skills and the ability to distill highly technical details into easily readable and effective audience-specific material. Candidates should also demonstrate strong oral communication skills (speaking and listening), strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of professionals.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Travel required. Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong commitment to client service excellence and teamwork. Must possess the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. Sound judgment and flexibility.
