The Education Conference Coordinator manages and coordinates faculty for the Urgent Care Association of America's annual conference (currently there are two). As an integral member of the professional development team, the Education Coordinator works closely with UCAOA staff, Board members, Volunteers and faculty as well as conference attendees, association members and constituent groups to advance the mission and vision of the Association through innovative programming and support. The Coordinator will also assist in planning and execution of the UCAOA Convention & Expo, Fall Conference and any additional meetings or conferences that are created.
This position reports to the Director of Education and typically includes travel to major educational events. The incumbent also works in close collaboration with the individual responsible for UCAOA's online education events. Experience with education software required.
Responsibilities (Summary) include:
Communicate with convention/ meeting faculty regarding logistics, presentations, content and honoraria;
Facilitate Education Committee approval of speakers' objectives, presentations and CME questions;
Manage and update the faculty in the speaker management system;
In collaboration with the Education Manager, upload and manage all faculty information, evaluations and classroom polls and content;
Onsite (event) coordination and troubleshooting;
Coordinate UCAOA event ambassador program;
Develop and distribute participant evaluations;
Coordinate faculty reimbursement per honoraria and travel guidelines;
Prepare materials for ACCME reporting in collaboration with the Department Director;
Collaborate with the Education Director to establish an annual budget;
Reconcile faculty and event related expenses.
