To support the growth of the organization, we are seeking a candidate for a Manager, Meetings & Events in the Marketing, Communications & Engagement Division.
The Manager, Meetings & Events position oversees approximately 50 internal and off-site meetings/events each year which range in size from 5 to 175 people. Most meetings/events center around governance and the activities and contributions of our extensive volunteer groups and therefore attention to detail, assuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to brand and culture standards are essential. This position also oversees the logistical components of the organizations participation in 15-20 domestic and international tradeshows per year. This position will ensure that all meetings/events/tradeshows are delivered at the highest standards of excellence by providing comprehensive project management, quality assurance and supervision of designated staff, and guaranteeing goals and projects are executed in a timely manner. Additionally, this position will contribute to both the strategic development of meetings/events and those of the organization. This position manages one full-time coordinator-level colleague, serves as a member of the Inteleos Management Team and works under the general guidance of the Chief Marketing, Communications and Engagement Officer.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, hold the Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification and have at least five years of experience in meeting, event and tradeshow logistics management. Additionally, we are seeking someone with a background in managing staff, budgeting/forecasting, site selection and contract negotiations.
