Executive Legal Assistant
Goodwill Industries International, Inc. (GII) is North America’s leading nonprofit provider of education, training, and career services for people with disadvantages, such as employment challenges, homelessness, and lack of education or work experience, as well as those with physical, mental and emotional disabilities.
GII seeks an Executive Legal Assistant to provide direct support for the Legal team, assist with litigation, trademark matters, contracts, and bequests, as needed. This position will also manage, support, and organize the department workload and oversee budget administration.
Specific duties include maintaining organizational documents, spreadsheets, and general files, as well as assisting with internal and external communications, conducting legal research, and create and submit expense reports and check requests. This position will also monitor the relevant communities on Goodwill’s intranet, and post contributing department articles and blogs.
Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superior data retrieval, analytical, and budget organization skills are required. Ideal candidates will possess critical thinking skills and willingness to learn new systems and applications. Proficiency with all MS Office Professional Tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is also a must.
Equivalent combination of education and experience in the area of project management and department support is required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
