Busy Chicago-based association is in need of a full-time Education and Programs Manager to plan and deliver professional designation classes, topical education sessions and programs to further professional development of the property management industry. Manager will work with Membership and Event staff, and volunteers to research, develop, market and implement quality educational offerings. Manager will be responsible for execution of professional development programs and events consistent with association goals and objectives.
We are seeking a professional with demonstrated success in the field of professional development and program management, preferably with a professional or trade association. The ideal candidate will possess a great attitude and work ethic, be high-achieving, organized and creative. Must be reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team.
Organize, plan and administer professional designations classes in accordance with national guidelines; maintain student records
Develop education sessions and seminars on public policy and topical industry issues
Responsible for education program scheduling, planning and logistics, registration and invoicing
Research and recruit expert speakers and presenters
Develop and execute education marketing plan; organize and maintain education information on website and social media
Staff volunteer committee responsible for education and professional development
Manage annual economic forecast event, business exchange, and other programs, as assigned
Develop and maintain annual education program budget
Experience in non-profit association education program administration
Program and event management
Member/customer service orientation
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Association Management Software (AMS)/Website Maintenance
