POSITION OVERVIEW: TLA is looking for an energetic and talented Graphic Design/Website Associate. This position reports to the TLA Director of Advocacy and Communications and collaborates with all departments within the association. Primary areas of responsibility include: • Plan and design print materials including journals, brochures, advertisements, flyers, posters, presentations etc. • Maintain website content and graphics including webpage updates, images, banners, landing pages, calls-to-actions, and general info. Provide guidance as needed for TLA member units. • Create custom website pages, landing pages and email templates. • Coordinate with internal customers, volunteers, outside suppliers, printers, etc. to complete projects. • Manage social media pages. • Track, analyze and report on key metrics across social media, email, website, and other tactics related to marketing initiatives.

• Creative with an eye for professional, modern graphic design. • Excellent communication and listening skills and exceptional focus on customer service. • Proficient in Drupal, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), MS Word, and MS PowerPoint as well as social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and others as might be needed. • Can-do problem solver with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team environment. • Reliable, self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills. • Ability to interpret and implement Association policies and procedures. • Ability to travel to annual conference. • Ability to lift 20 lbs. • Position contingent on passing criminal background check.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's or Associates Degree strongly preferred, but extensive experience in graphic/web design may be considered in lieu of education. • Two to five years of professional graphic design/website experience. • Experience working with associations or nonprofits preferred. • Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures.
