The Digital Analytics Association is dedicated to making analytics professionals more effective and valuable through professional development and community. DAA has more than 4,250 members across the globe. Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Education Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and creation of education/professional development resources, adding enhanced value to the association’s membership and ensuring continuous growth of the association.
The DAA Education Manager is a critical component to the association, engaging and collaborating with the ED, taskforce members, association staff, the DAA Board and other leaders, members, volunteers, allied organizations, educational institutions, subject matter experts (SME) and other key industry stakeholders to design, develop, and implement high quality professional development programs and resources.
Deliver short course certificate programs in 2018. (Some of this already in progress) •Using volunteer work groups, identify content, source content or create content (where needed), create quiz or other assessment, create marketing brief, load into LMS to deliver certificate program.
Manage the DAA Education Webinar Program. •Find speakers, select topics, prepare speakers and materials, utilize GoToWebinar, assist in creating marketing copy, moderate webinar, record and upload recording into DAA LMS tool (BlueSky). Goal is to offer 6 in 2018, plus assist with sponsored webinars where content is already provided.
Manage DAA Self-Assessment Tool. •Work with tool developer to create reports, map learning resources to competencies, and update current learning resources.
Assist with on-site workshop identification, planning and delivery. •Along with the ED, talk with interested companies to identify potential workshops to meet their needs, talk with selected workshop instructor, create and execute contract, ensure day of workshop items are prepared, invoice company, submit expenses and speakers fee for payment.
Contribute content to monthly e-newsletter, work with marketing team on content for quarterly professional development member email.
Manage DAA online speakers bureau. •Add new members as requested, remove non-member listings.
Manage volunteer work groups to achieve key initiatives.
Monitor current in-person course offerings (given twice a year) to remain relevant, ensure trainer for those courses. •Convert current in-person course to an online course (Q4). Create format, organize content and work with instructors on interactive learning exercises, create assessments. •Identify tool to offer courses.
Manage partnership for DAA owned content, mainly consisting of our relationship with current university partner •Work has been done this fall to identify needed updates and now it is time to implement updates to refresh the curriculum while also searching for a new partner to offer courses with.
Prepare monthly board reports and provide updates on key initiatives and other metrics.
Other duties as assigned.
This is a remote, work-at-home position as a contractor. Estimated hours 20-25 per week.
Preferred Qualifications: *Four-year degree required. *Six+ years in customer experience and/or related field. *Ability to forge strong relationships with SMEs and instructors *Experience in planning and executing educational programs for associations important. *Comfortable with technology and the analytics industry *Excellent time-management skills required; ability to motivate and work with volunteers important. *Highly articulate and personable *Ability to work independently *Strong knowledge and experience with an array of content platforms to include webinars, email, learning management systems, etc. *Strong multi-tasker, writer, and organizer with a keen eye to detail and who is deadline driven.
Additional Salary Information: This is a remote, work at home, contract position with an hourly rate.
