The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Int’l. (FMA) seeks an experienced professional to lead our education programs, member offerings, member retention programs, & FMA Store. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director will oversee education & membership marketing & public relations efforts to further advance FMA’s brand & program growth.
Develop & implement strategies for member recruitment & retention that support FMA’s strategic plan.
Manage & evaluate member services, benefits & policies.
Lead FMA’s strategic relationships with its councils, committees, certified education centers, & internal departments to perform educational activities in accordance with the strategic goals & objectives of the association.
Prepare reports for management & Board of Directors & attend all board meetings.
Identify emerging technologies, manufacturing methodologies, & introduce progressive & innovative methods of disseminating educational programming to stakeholders.
Provide direction & oversight for tradeshow conferences & the credentialing & assessment program activities.
Develop & manage the department's annual budgets.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, management, or related field.
A minimum of 10 years of association and/or management work experience.
Experience in managing professional development & training programs.
Prior successful experience managing staff.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
Organized with ability to multi-task & manage time effectively.
