Overview: This full-time non-exempt position provides services essential to advancing the mission and daily operations of the TKE Education Foundation. The Stewardship & Advancement Services Manager reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and works closely with the Annual Fund Manager & Regional Advancement Director(s). Key Responsibilities: Administrative/Project Managements •Directly supports the Chief Advancement Officer. •Manages the scholarship program, chapter special project funds, housing/educational requests and Leadership Academy grants. •Manages the Foundation’s special events (i.e. – board meetings, donor receptions, volunteer recognition events and assists with Giving Tuesday) includes, but not limited to, compiling materials, making travel arrangements, arranging meeting space and planning meals. •Responsible for the courtyard program including, but not limited to, compiling orders, donor communication, online courtyard map database and ordering of bricks. •Schedules and coordinates committee meetings for TEF Board of Directors and Volunteers. •Assist in the collection and documentation of Planned Gifts. •Manages interns and the volunteers during Conclave, Founders’ Day and donor events. •Oversees project completion for all activities leading up to and during Conclave and Regional Leadership Conferences. Data Management •Responsible for evaluating and identifying new and existing prospects which includes researching, preparing, and maintaining tailored reports of specific individuals, corporations and foundations. •Serve as the primary manager of the TEF donor database, generating regular progress reports, lists and other analytical tools for use by staff and Board members. •Compile prospect reports and track proposals sent to prospects. Communication / Donor Stewardship •Builds and maintains strong relationships with TKE Fraternity full-time and shared staff for effective relationship with the Foundation. •Develops an effective communication plan to generate support across all TKE audiences. •Seeks out grants and applies for annual foundation support from relevant nonprofit organizations. •Develops stewardship / recognition program for annual, major and planned gift donors, and giving club members (including, but is not limited to, ordering recognition gifts, distribution of materials / acknowledgement letters, e-acknowledgements, acknowledgement calls, etc.) Other •Other responsibilities as assigned by CAO. Reporting Relationship:Reports directly to CAO Travel:Less than 10%
Education/Knowledge/Experience: •Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. •Minimum of three years of experience in fundraising operations. •Experience in managing other staff, interns, volunteers. •Strong personal and written communication skills. •Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail. •Collaborative, team-oriented work style as well as be able to work independently. •Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and to succeed under pressure. •High energy and goal oriented. •High degree of technological proficiency, including past experience working with desktop publishing software, social media, web content management/updates, constituent management software, PowerPoint presentations and other Microsoft Office programs.
