REPORTS TO: Vice President, Marketing & Innovation NON-EXEMPT, Full-Time
The (graphic designer) GD is responsible for conceptualizing designing, and producing collateral to support the Association’s brand strategy across all platforms. This person must be able to multi-task while working on several projects simultaneously. The GD will, maintain clear communication with department managers and directors on timelines needs and specifics. The GD should be an energetic a team player, with an eye for modern/clean design.
The GD must understand internal and external customer/audience needs, project timelines, and budget scope. They will facilitate relationships with print vendors. This includes gathering quotes, ordering, and scheduling delivery of collateral: as well as, creating and delivering accurate program costings within budgets. Additionally, this person should have a working knowledge of content management platforms. They will work with the Communications Manager to promote Association membership, products, services and events utilizing both online and traditional media strategies.
Work with the TRA to execute designs that support business objectives
Assists in developing, managing and executing effective digital and traditional marketing campaigns. This is across all TRA mediums including print, email, social media, microsites, landing pages and Association websites
Design digital and print marketing collateral in support of TRA campaigns for membership, products, services and events
Design, layout, and publish Restaurantville the TRAs quarterly digital magazine
Design for function and usability with an understanding of current user trends
Responsible for managing Informz communications
Meets regularly with various departments to assess ongoing online and traditional marketing needs
Manages the maintenance of style and brand guides
Assists in planning and managing of production timelines with the Marketing Manager
Delivers print ready files with press checks as needed
Prepares and optimizes graphics and photos as needed to illustrate web pages and other communications
Manages media library, using (an updating when needed) an appropriate naming convention
Manages the accuracy, functionality and consistency of Association websites
Creatively seeks out new products, systems and processes while maintain cutting edge industry knowledge
Responsible for creating accurate costings and delivering programs within budgets
Manages quarterly production schedules for campaigns within budget scope

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with 2 - 4 years of work experience in graphic design as it relates to digital and print marketing
Thorough understanding of digital design principles and guidelines; understanding of optimal online user experiences
Experience in print, digital and email design required
Motion graphic and video editing experience is ideal
Experience using social media as a marketing tool
Experience with cloud-based services (i.e. Dropbox, One Drive, FTPs)
Experience with content managements systems
Able to work independently, show initiative, and set priorities
Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines successfully
Able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity
Creative experience with all types of design projects both print and digital
Hyper-organized and attentive to details Poses excellent problem solving and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal communication as part of a diverse team
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required.
Proficiency in HTML, in-line HTML, and CSS is ideal
Working knowledge and ability to create templates in Microsoft Office: Word and PowerPoint
Proficient with online content management systems and Web site platforms as relates to marketing
iMIS experience preferred
