Small non-profit trade association seeks part time bookkeeper/accountant to manage association’s accounting.
Responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reports, bank deposits, and account reconciliation. Responsible for managing membership dues, subscription invoicing, invoice inquiries, and working with staff to establish proper protocol and mechanisms to receive payment for various association products and services. Prepare records and files for annual audit and for tax preparation.
Position is approximately 20 hrs/week with possible telecommute options.
at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
at least 2 years QuickBooks experience
at least 1 year association experience
accuracy and attention to detail
good communication skills and ability to get along with both staff and association members
strong ethics and integrity
ability to work independently
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Negotiable on an hourly basis
