At AMGA we’re paving the way for medical groups and integrated systems of care to deliver the next level of high-performance health. We have an opening for a Coordinator to support a number of AMGA Foundation initiatives: the National Health Campaigns in implementing the Diabetes: Together 2 Goal® campaign (www.together2goal.org); the fundraising and governance activities of the Development team; and general support for the Foundation.
Together 2 Goal® is a national campaign that aims to improve care for one million people living with Type 2 diabetes. Launched in March 2016, this three-year initiative engages medical groups, health systems, patients, partners, sponsors, and the entire nation to achieve this collective goal. A successful Coordinator will provide the support needed to ensure the campaign runs smoothly and that stakeholders remain engaged and committed to the campaign.
The Development area of the Foundation is involved in fundraising and development activities involving corporations, member groups and health systems, individuals and other foundations for both restricted and unrestricted funding.
Conduct outreach and follow-up to campaign participants via telephone and email regarding various campaign activities and document progress.
Provide quality assurance for campaign activities (e.g., cross-checking lists, proofreading materials).
Schedule National Health Campaign social media content and support online engagement.
Create, submit, and track website update requests.
Assist in development of reports to sponsors, grantors, members, campaign committees, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
Provide logistical support for fundraising events (including annual silent auction) and conferences.
Perform data entry and updates including entering donations, running reports.
Manage donor acknowledgment strategy
Assist with Foundation Board activities and help prepare for Board meetings held twice per year.
Coordinate webinars, which includes managing registration process, compiling PowerPoint slides, arranging pre-webinar calls with featured guests, and day-of hosting.
Manage distribution of e-blasts, e-newsletters and other email communications.
Coordinate logistics for team’s participation in AMGA and partner conferences, including requesting conference signage, coordinating exhibit booth area, liaising with speakers, among other activities.
Support research and planning for development of materials and reports.
Manage hard-copy mailings, which include mail-merging addresses, writing and customizing letters based on provided template, and packaging materials for shipment.
Make travel arrangements, including booking flights, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations.
Schedule internal and external calls and meetings, including staff meetings for the Foundation.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience desired
Experience conducting outreach and follow-up via phone and email
Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Follows direction closely and produces timely, error-free work
Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Ability to take on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
Experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with strong formatting skills
Experience working in a database to input/update data as well as extract desired informatio
Proficiency in webinar (e.g., Cisco WebEx platform) and CRM platforms (e.g., iMIS) desirabe
Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite) desirable
