Arlington based national trade association seeks organized, energetic team player for Director of Business Development position. Within a team environment this position is responsible for multiple revenue generating activities including membership growth, exhibit space reservations web site advertising and sponsorship sales.
Assisting with membership prospecting, recruitment and membership orientation materials
Distributing member communications and promotional emails
Planning, promoting and executing revenue generating programs including advertising, sponsorship, and exhibiting opportunities
Promoting membership growth by responding to inquiries and assisting in outreach to potential members
Assisting meetings and events team in all aspects of event planning and promotion and on-site registration and event execution
Managing exhibitor reservation system
Managing annual awards entry and judging process
Managing event web site and meetings pages of primary association site
Attending events as staff liaison to members, exhibitors and sponsors
Managing or assist with other projects as needed
Positive attitude and strong communication and computer skills are a must. Sales, marketing, association management and Wordpress experience preferred.
