The National Association of Credit Management, located in Columbia, MD, is looking for a Director of Information Technology. This position is responsible for everything IT related including developing and directing the overall IT strategy, managing all aspects of technology, planning for future IT needs, budgeting and managing related staff, disaster recovery, managing physical/virtual servers, workstations, network switches, phones, projectors, printers, upgrading hardware systems, and all other IT related hardware, the administration of all operating systems, software packages, custom software solutions, and upgrading all software packages.
This position is the point of contact for all things IT related, internally and externally, and as such, needs to ensure the proper information is being conveyed to the target audience. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with staff and customers who have varying levels of technical knowledge, and must be flexible in order to troubleshoot various issues as they arise.
This position is required to travel at least one week a year for NACM's annual member meeting and will be responsible for all aspects of the IT needs for the meeting.
