The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) is seeking a full-time Director of Meetings to manage and produce a portfolio of meetings, conferences and events for the Association, its Affiliates and Members. This is a critical management position for producing Association revenue. The ideal candidate has experience in all aspects meetings, conferences, and events; position will support assigned Divisions and external client organizations to plan, coordinate, market, and execute conferences, symposia, exhibitions, meetings and related events or activities. Perform liaison activities between Government offices/agencies and Divisions, as required. Manage and develop assigned operating budget to achieve/exceed financial targets. Manage team of professional meeting planners to accomplish assigned tasks on schedule and at budget. Work in close coordination with Director, Exhibits & Sponsorships to optimize performance of assigned events. Coordinate with and support other Directors, NDIA staff and NDIA affiliate organizations as required. Promote NDIA as the “premier” defense association.
