The AAE Foundation supports endodontics by providing resources and funding for research, education, public awareness and access to care. The Foundation supports saving natural teeth for all through the efforts of endodontic specialists.
We are currently seeking a Development Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role that coordinates many of the Foundation’s activities related to fundraising and grant awarding.
Key Responsibilities and Day-to day Activities include:
Assist the Development Manager in preparing materials for Foundation Board of Trustees, committees, fundraising volunteers, and other groups.
Assist in the Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign.
Process and acknowledge gifts and pledges.
Coordinate and organize research grant review process and materials.
Prepare pledge invoicing, communications, and mailings.
Maintain donor records and prospect records.
Maintain grant and fundraising records.
Process payments and balance monthly fund totals with the Accounting Department.
Prepare correspondence to donors, prospects, grantees, and applicants.
Assist Development Manager with Foundation website and AAE webpages.
Manage social media channels.
Coordinate Foundation Outreach Program logistics.
Organize submission, review, scheduling, and on site logistics of oral, poster, and table clinic presentations at the annual meeting.
Assist with special fundraising events and programs, such as auctions, raffles, and receptions.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, email, and PowerPoint.
Good communications and organization skills.
Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
Excellent customer service skills.
Related degree preferred.
At least 1 year of related experience in fundraising, association management, or other non-profit organization preferred.
Experience using database software.
Familiarity with the dental industry or non-profits, is highly desirable but not required.
